Usages

Directions for Intake:

• Triphasil is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
• Should be taken only once a day with a maximum interval of 24 hours between intakes
• Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
• Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered using two pills of this medication the next day, then continue with single dosages after that
• In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately

Directions for Storage:

• Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
• The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
• Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children

Side Effects

 

• Possible side effects include sudden numbness or weakness in one side of the body, sudden headache and confusion, problems with vision, chest pain with heavy feeling, nausea, loss of appetite, swelling in the hands, ankles, and feet, depression symptoms, and vaginal itching or discharge
• Triphasil may cause an allergic reaction to some users

Warnings

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor before taking Triphasil. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
• Smoking while under this medication is highly discouraged
• Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications: cetaminophen, ascorbic acid, cyclosporine, seizure medicines, antibiotics, barbiturates, and HIV medicines
• Inform your physician of any previous or present experience of having recently given birth, history of stroke, history of blood clot, history of diabetes, circulation problems, breast or uterine cancer, abnormal vaginal bleeding, liver problems or diseases, high blood pressure, migraine disorders, and history of jaundice related to the use of birth control pills
• If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Triphasil
• If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Triphasil
